ShieldBook

Marketing and growth

Know which marketing actually paid.

Today every inquiry in ShieldBook records how the customer found you. The direction is a growth system on the same record: capture every lead, follow up until it books, and trace every campaign to the customers, jobs and collected revenue it produced.

The growth system is planned direction. The marketing source on every inquiry, and the records it will measure, are built today.

ConceptCampaigns judged by collected revenue. Invented demo figures. On the roadmap

01Built today

Every customer starts with where they came from.

The source, recorded at the first call

Attribution needs two ends: where a customer came from, and what they paid. ShieldBook already records both on the same record. The growth system connects them.

  • How they found you, on every inquiry
  • Your own list of sources, from Google Ads to the truck
  • The source stays on the customer through every job after

02Closed-revenue attribution

A lead isn't revenue. Follow it to the payment.

Most marketing tools stop at the lead or the booked call. ShieldBook's record goes all the way to collected money, so the question changes from "which ads got clicks?" to "which ads paid for themselves?"

  • No sync to break

Marketing tools and operations tools disagree because they keep separate copies. Here, the lead becomes the customer; there's nothing to reconcile.

  • Repeat revenue counts

The second job, the membership, the replacement three years later: they belong to the campaign that found the customer, because they're on the same record.

  • Collected, not quoted

An estimate isn't revenue and an approval isn't a payment. Attribution counts money that was actually collected.

03The growth system

From the first click to the next job.

Where ShieldBook is going beyond operations. Except for marketing sources, nothing in this chapter is available today.

04Growth agents

Agents for growth, with a harness.

Every agent gets a written brief

An agent that talks to your customers represents your business. In ShieldBook's direction, no agent runs without a harness the owner approves: what it's for, what it may touch, how far it may go, and who it answers to.

Agents use the same rules as the rest of ShieldBook. How AI works in ShieldBook

  • An objective, the data it may use and the actions it may take(On the roadmap)
  • Outreach rules, budgets and rate limits
  • What needs a person's approval, and when it must stop
  • Every action in the activity history, under the agent's own name
