Estimates and approvals

Clear options. A real signature. A sale you can see.

Build options from your price book, present them on the technician's device, and record the customer's approval with a signature. Then the business decides how to commit to the work, so approved and sold never blur together.

01Build

Options in minutes, priced the same way every time.

Start from your price book

Every technician quotes from the same items at the same prices, and the price book keeps its versions, so an estimate from last spring still shows what it said last spring.

  • Search or browse a versioned price book
  • As many options as the job needs, each with its own items
  • Discounts and member pricing, shown as savings
  • Customer financing on the estimate(On the roadmap)

Replacement options from a few questions

Replacement work is where estimates take longest and vary most. Tiered options turn it into a few answers and a clear set of choices, so the conversation is about the customer's home, not the arithmetic.

  • Answer a few questions about the job; ShieldBook builds the tiers
  • Tiers from economy to premium, each a complete option the customer can choose

02Present and approve

The customer chooses. The record remembers.

Present on the technician's device

Present mode turns the estimate around to face the customer: what was found and the choices, with every discount under its own label. Internal-only lines and costs never appear, and ShieldBook records what the customer was shown.

  • A customer-facing view of the options, on the device in the home
  • What was found, in plain words, before any price
  • Non-members see what each option costs with a plan, and can add it in one tap

Approve with a signature, now or later

Some customers decide on the spot. Others want to talk it over. Either way the approval is recorded with the option they chose, their signature and the time.

  • Signature drawn or typed, on the device
  • Or through a secure link the customer opens on their own phone
  • Delivered and opened status on every estimate email

Approval is the customer's decision. The sale is yours.

A signed approval doesn't mean the parts are ordered or the crew is booked. ShieldBook keeps the customer's yes and the business's commitment as separate steps, so approved work never quietly becomes a promise nobody scheduled.

  • Approved estimates wait in their own queue until the business commits
  • Marking work sold gives it a next step and, if needed, a deposit
